  • This 32-foot Swedish-built cruising sailboat is ready to take you anywhere in the world. The larger cousin of the famous "Folkboat," the Marieholm 32 was created with the North Sea in mind. Her 3,000-pound encapsulated lead full keel helps her track well, even in heavy wind, and she offers an incredibly stable, smooth ride in rough seas. A self-tacking jib, in addition to a full genoa, make the boat easy to sail in rough weather. She is fast and responsive for a full-keeler, even in lighter wind. Unlike most other Marieholms on the market, this one has an updated, reliable Yanmar diesel engine, which pushes her along easily at 6 knots and burns very little fuel.
  • In addition to her noteworthy sea-keeping abilities, her accommodations are roomy and comfortable for a 32-footer. She sleeps five people comfortably, and has enough headroom to allow a six-foot-tall person to stand up in the main salon. A dedicated chart table provides a stable platform for navigation work, and a dinette, with comfortable seating for six, makes an excellent gathering place at mealtime. I have sailed this boat up to Maine for the past three summers, and she has proved to be an excellent live-aboard during the months I have spent on her.
  • This boat is completely ready to go, with a full suite of new electronics, radar, autopilot, newer Yanmar engine, new 406 mhz. Epirb with built-in GPS, new nonskid, excellent North mainsail, spinnaker, self-tacking jib, genoa, and storm sail. Incredibly low price of $14,900 for a bullet-proof boat that's all set for long-distance voyaging.
