• No Brass Ring V was constructed in Newport Beach, CA of the best woods and metals available. She is 57' on deck with an LOA of 64' 10". Frames are 9" oc with 1 3/4" mahogany planking. All frame members are silicon bronze bolted. 1" bolts along 24' of keel hold 10,000# ballast keel. She is well built and strong. We cruised extensively, always upgrading and maintaining. With a varnished hull and accessible interior she is visibly fully found. Hull specifications and layout of a 57" Alden motorsailer were altered to suit our needs. The pilot house is ideal in all weather conditions and air flow can be regulated. Pilot house overhead serves as rain water catch and houses 6 large solar panels. Beam is 15.5' and draft 5.5'. Main, mizzen, and 3 booms are spruce and in excellent condition. The Boston Whaler and 10 hp Mercury are the greatest for diving and visiting ashore. They are easily hoisted to the davits.
  
  Interior:
• Forward cabin has 2 berths, plus seat with plenty of storage.
• Aft is shower, and freezer, hanging locker, single to starboard, double to port, full head, and plenty of storage.
• Ladder goes up to main cabin or down to engine room.
• Dining area, galley, chart locker, shelving, drawers, and plenty of storage comprise the main cabin.
• Aft ladder goes down to aft cabin or engine room.
• There is a full head with shower, chart table, chest of drawers, hanging locker, and double berth.
• Ladder and hatch lead up to deck.
  
  Deck:
• Most deck hardware is bronze as are all underwater castings.
• Anchor roller assembly is welded 1/2" bronze plate on which are mounted [2] 3" bronze rollers with 1/2 " guides.
• This design and 110/1 ratio, anchor windlass are proven reliable and reassuring when anchoring.
• 1" turnbuckles, 1/2"toggles and chain plates are silicon bronze.
• Standing rigging is 1/2" SS.
• Winches and blocks are Merriman and adequate with Harken roller furling for genoa.
• The lazarette contains the 4.4KW Westerbeke generator,steering apparatus and a lot of storage.
