• Sassafras is an EXTREMELY CLEAN, VERY FAST, racing/cruising boat that really has to be seen to appreciate...
• She has a professionally prepared racing bottom and keel. Her hull is buffed and waxed to a mirror finish with absolutely NO GELCOAT DINGS OR DEFECTS.
• She sits on a custom built trailer that has a "built in" tongue extension and keel guides to facilitate extremely easy ramp launches and retrievals.
• The freshly cleaned and polished mast has all new "no stretch" halyards and topping lift. The boom has also been updated with new lines and hardware.
• The bottom is currently painted with VC 2000 (grey), but I can discuss different paint options with you to meet your specific needs (anti-fouling or even VC Perfomance Epoxy).
• The boat has been stored on her trailer (dry) for the past 4 years. Moisture meter readings on the bottom reveal dry to very dry conditions. She's never been in salt water and has no corrosion on any of her hardware.

  Interior:
• The interior is very clean with fresh epoxy paint in the V berth and lockers.
• Original cushions are available but would probably need to be "dry cleaned" before use.
• The bulkhead is solid (no rot and properly attached).
  
  Deck:
• Most of the deck hardware has been either removed and rebedded with fresh caulk or removed and holes sealed with epoxy.
• The chainplates and stancion bases are all freshly and properly caulked.
• Halyards and control lines, that were fairled aft from the factory, have been changed to mast and base of mast cleat arrangements (race ready).
• The secondary winches have been removed and holes sealed, but I do have the winches in case you might need them.
• A new traveller,car, and aluminum traveller support beam (with foot rest) have been installed.
• She comes with a set of "Lopez" blocks for the jib/genoa aft track fairleads.
• New tiller,tiller extension, and tiller cover are included.
  
  Electronics:
• Velocitek with mast mount included
  
  Sails:
• "Nearly" new North mainsail, genoa, and spinnaker were all purchased just after I bought the boat.
• The original 100% jib will need to be modified w/ hanks instead of luff tape....
• These sails won the 2009 LLSC "Miss Piggy" regatta and finished second (by 1 point) in the 2010 LLSC "Atlanta Cup" on this boat.
